Select a First Console Game to Play

Note to High School Students: Your school may have specified which game you must play. See your teacher for details.

You must play a major console game from the list contained in this assignment. Take a few weeks and get to know the game well. In three weeks you will answer some basic questions about that game. You have six weeks to finish the game; at the time you will answer detailed questions.  You should pick a game that you have never player before.

While you may use a console that you own, Lorain County Community College has purchased all of the games shown below plus two X-Box 360 consoles, two Playstation 3 consoles, and one Wii Console exclusively for the use of students in this class.  The Reserves Desk in the Bass Library will allow you to check out one of these consoles plus a game and a private study room for two-hour blocks of time.  To use one of these rooms you should have a study partner.

Your assignment this week is to select the game that you intend to play.  Note that once selected I expect you to play this game for a considerable amount of time.  While you might not complete the game, you should be able to answer detailed questions about it.
