Lecture 1 - So You Want to Be a Game Designer?

Module 1 Activities

• Read Game Design Workshop chapter 1.
• You may download Game Maker 8.1 for free from here.
  
• Read The Game Maker's Apprentice chapter 2 and write your custom version of the game "Evil Clutches."
• Select a console game to play and begin playing it.  LCCC Students will find games are available in the Bass Library (second floor of the LR building).
• View Lecture 1 "So you want to be a game designer?" via cable television, or Youtube (below). 
• Complete all of the assignments below by the due dates shown on the calendar.
